Who am I

My name is Kathryn Pitt and I am a Brit that now lives in Los angeles. my love of art was founded in High school where under three brilliant and inspiring teachers I learned different disciplines and techniques in creating. It was a place of solace where you could be yourself without judgement and whereto world, through constant chatter and discussion was put right. After a foundation course in London I went to the University of Northumberland to study History of Art Design and Film.

My career began in store window displays, interior design and Interior styling until I did a 180 degree turn and went into healthcare working with those who have suffered from brain trauma. It was leaving the UK to settle in the States that I went back to painting again. I paint what inspires me - light and color are what guides me . I enjoy working closely with clients - as the work becomes more of a collaboration it becomes more personal to both you the client and me the artist.
